ABOUT US
Waikiki is one of SMU’s largest student-led events that draws a record number of sign-ups and participants. It is a beach extravaganza featuring various beach sports, fringe activities, food carnival and even a beauty pageant!
This year, Waikiki aims to integrate the entire SMU community (students, alumni, faculty), NTU, NUS and other universities through both competitive and non-competitive games!

Registration FAQs
What am I entitled to?
Be in for a surprise! You will definitely receive an exclusive Waikiki 2018 singlet and a goodie bag with many sponsored items.
When can I collect my goodie bag?
Upon registration at the booth on the day itself, 1 September 2018, Saturday.
What if my singlet size doesn’t fit?
Sorry, but singlets are non-exchangeable. Please refer to our sizing chart in the respective forms to make sure you’ve selected the most suitable size!
What happens if it rains?
Waikiki 2018 will still go on! The event will only be cancelled in the event of extreme bad weather conditions.
Is there a minimum age requirement?
The minimum age requirement for participation is 16 years old as of the event day, the 1st September 2018, Saturday. (For both Competitive and non-competitive games)
Where do I report to on event day?
Reporting venue is New Mempari Beach, Sentosa.
What time should I come for the event?
Registration starts as early as 8am on 1st September 2018.
Payment FAQ
How will I know how to make payment?
When registering on the sign-up link, there will be an Xfers link given to guide you on how to make payment.
Do I get a refund if I choose not to participate after registration?
There will be no refund if participants choose to withdraw.
When am I considered an internal participant?
Internal participants are students who have matriculated.
Competitive Games FAQ
Am I eligible to participate in more than one competitive game?
Yes. Each person is eligible to participate in maximum 2 competitive games.
Am I eligible to participate in beach carnival games upon participating in the competitive game segment?
Yes, upon registration with a team for competitive game, you are entitled to play for that particular competitive game as well as all beach carnival games.
What must I bring?
For SMU students, Please bring along your Matriculation Card or Ezlink Card for confirmation.
For non-SMU students, please bring along your NRIC/FIN Card or Elink Card.
For participants below 18, please bring along indemnity form (hard copy).
What if I do not bring my IC/Matriculation Card/Ezlink?
We regret to inform you that, without identification material, we will not be able to verify and proceed with the registration.
I cannot make it for my event. Can my friend replace me instead?
Please call manpower department Bryan @8686 6523 or Siddharth @9735 5196 and we will provide you with further instructions.
Am I able to register on the event day itself?
No, registration closes on 12th August.

What must I bring?
